Nitinol Alloy Tube for Stents & Medical Devices

High-performance nitinol alloy tube with shape memory and superelasticity.

Ideal for medical stents and devices, offering precision, durability, and custom sizing options.

Nitinol Alloy Tube – Shape Memory Tube for Medical Use

Our nitinol tube combines shape memory and superelastic performance in one advanced material. Known as a smart alloy, it can recover its original form after deformation or heating. This makes it highly suitable for medical applications, especially stents and catheter-based devices.

Material Features

The nitinol tube is made from a near-equal mix of nickel and titanium. This composition creates two key advantages. First, superelasticity allows the tube to flex without damage. Second, shape memory enables it to return to a programmed shape at body temperature.

In addition, the material meets medical-grade requirements. It offers low nickel release, strong corrosion resistance, and stable long-term performance.

Production Process

We produce each nitinol tube using a controlled process. High-purity metals are vacuum melted to ensure cleanliness. The alloy is then formed into a tube through extrusion.

Next, we apply cold drawing to achieve precise dimensions. Heat treatment between stages enhances flexibility and sets the memory effect. Finally, the tube is cleaned, cut, and polished to create a smooth inner and outer surface.
